Folly Farm Adventure Park, Begelly,
Kilgetty, Nr Tenby. One of Wales' biggest family attractions
where you can touch and feed the animals, watch the cows
being milked or even have a go at hand milking. There are
falconry demonstrations, extensive indoor and outdoor play

Llys y Fran Country Park, the
reservoir is the focal point of the Country Park which has
pay & display car parks on either side of the dam wall.
Picnic sites, visitor centre, licensed restaurant, toilets,
exhibition area and shops. A circular walk and off road
cycle route around the reservoir cover 7.5 miles (11km)
or 3 hours walking. Fishing available.

Stack Rocks & The Green Bridge
of Wales, Castlemartin, Nr Pembroke.
A dramatic natural rock arch and rock pillars on the south
west coast of Pembrokeshire. The road to the Stack Rocks
passes through an army tank range and is closed at certain

Expeditions have sole landing rights to Ramsey Islands RSPB
Nature Reserve, land or cruise around the island beneath
cliffs covered in nesting seabirds. The bays and caves are
full of grey seals and in September it’s pupping season.

Caldey Island, Off
Tenby. Caldey Abbey is the home of Cistercian Monks who
farm this tiny island off the coast of Tenby and make the
famous Caldey Island perfume and chocolate. The island can
be visited from Easter to October (Mon-Fri, Saturdays also
in June, July and August) Regular boat trips leave from
Tenby Harbour. There is also a medieval priory, lighthouse,
post office/museum, gift shop and tea garden - as well as
a glorious sandy beach, pleasant walks and spectacular views.

Castell Henllys, Off
A487 Cardigan-Fishguard Rd, Nr Newport. A reconstructed
Iron Age hillfort. Findings from excavations carried out
on the site have enabled the National Park Authority to
realistically reproduce life as it was 2000 years ago. Traditional
craft making and ancient breeds of animals can also be found
on site. Open to public April 1st to October 31st. Open
all year for schools/colleges.

Colby Woodland Gardens,
Nr Amroth. 8 acres of woodland gardens set in a tranquil
and secluded valley with extensive woodland walks and views
over Carmarthen Bay. The garden houses one of the finest
collections of rhododendrons and azaleas in Wales. A themed
sculpture trail centered around carved oak benches depicting
creatures found in the garden.

Picton Castle & Woodland Gardens,

Skomer, Skokholm & Grassholm Boat
Trips, Dale Sailing Company,

Upton Castle Gardens, Nr
Cosheston. The grounds and gardens occupy a secluded wooded
valley which runs down to a tributary of the Carew River.
The grounds contain over 250 different species of trees
and shrubs and are managed by the Pembrokeshire Coast National

The Gallery at Colby, The
National Trust, Colby Woodland Garden, Stepaside, Narberth,

St Davids Cathedral, St
Davids. Of all the ancient churches in Pembrokeshire, the
great cathedral at St Davids is, of course, the crowning
glory. Built in a hollow, the "Vale of the Roses",
to conceal it from the Viking raiders, the cathedral is
a majestic building set in a magnificent setting. Such was
the importance of this 6th Century holy man that it was
decreed in the Middle Ages that two pilgrimages to St Davids
equalled one to Rome. In regular use as a place of worship,
the cathedral also provides an unparalleled venue for fine

Tenby Museum & Art Gallery,
Castle Hill, Tenby. An award winning
museum founded in 1878 and one of the oldest independent
museums in Wales. A registered charitable trust run largely

RSPB-Ramsey Island / Thousand Island

Davids. This dramatic offshore island is 1 mile off St Davids
Coast. From late April to early August the spectacular 400
foot cliffs are alive with seabirds. Each headland is a
truly unique vantage point from which to appreciate the
sheer volume and intense activity of breeding guillemots,
razorbills, kittiwakes and fulmars. Choughs and wheatears
breed on the island. In the autumn, a colony of breeding

Bosherston Lake, Bosherston,
Nr Pembroke. 3 flooded limestone valleys best known for
their covering carpet of lilies, which are at their best
in June. A footpath winds its way around the banks to the
spectacular beach at Broad Haven South. The ponds also offer
good course fishing and are well stocked.
